Done durring Bobby Chiu's Livestream where the theme was to draw your own version of Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter.

I submitted mine late, so I Bobby didnt get to see it. >: ah well.

This is actually a colored version of what I put up on the CHIUstream, you can see my process from beginning to end here: [link]

from sketch, to simple shading, to color. A somewhat new method of coloring that produced interesting results.

I love the sketchy crossed lines that are still visible in the hat and other parts :) Are they part of your lineart?

Ah, yes. :3 If you saw the progress picture linked in the description, you might notice I have all my lines and shading in one layer which I then go over with some color.

So I guess... yeah, it is part of my lineart. xD
