LivestreamWow, has it been a month already? I feel like I've just updated my journal last week. :I
Time sure flies.
Anyway, I will be making a poll later as to what Tutorial you guys would want me to make for you. The purpose of this journal is to give me an idea as to what options may go into the poll so you guys may pick later. Just comment below, or something.
As for the people who are waiting for their chibies, I'm working on them. Slowly. xD Please just try to remember they're
freebies so I'm not actually obliged to work on them. I just am because I love you guys. xD
I also want to do a themed set of drawings (around 4-5, maybe). Like.. fruit themed, or animal themed or whatever. I'd love some suggestions for that, too. xD

You dont need to read this bit, but I figured I'd take the time to rant about internet etiquette.
As some of you may know, there are some (if not, numerous) people here on the interwebs who think its fun to flame other people's work. I'm sure there are some good people who may be guilty of this sometimes (myself included) but this still does not belay the fact that what we're doing isnt.. right.
Some people come out to be very rude without meaning to, but thats just fine with them. You notice how there are so many communities with forums and page upon page of "RAAAGEE"-ing on the artist, and the artist only being an ass back. I'm quite tired of it. Gaia, for example is the breeding place to such things and nearly everyday there's some sort of quarrel.
I post my stuff on Gaia sometimes, and evidently there are some people who like to comment rudely, and even though it gets me a little sad, what do I do?
Nothing.
I would rather keep my mouth shut and not engage in a speech-fight with people I dont even know. Why should I care? I understand that sometimes there might be good intention behind their mean words, like how this body part looks odd, or what not. If they tell me something I somewhat agree with, then I'll keep it in mind the next time I draw.
I cant stop these people from taking their angst out on other artists, but what I can do is to
not add fuel to the flame. What do I mean by this? I just simply wont be aggressive about it. I'll thank them for their time, sometimes agree with them (despite how awful their comment was, only if their advice is sound), and just tell myself to do better next time.
Artists are, usually, insecure about their work. Sometimes they dont show it, but deep down they tend to be really sensitive about their art. For the younglings out there, I understand your pain. Just keep at it, and tell those negative voices in your head to F*ck off cause they wont get you anywhere!
As I close my rant, I'd just like to say one thing for you people who find yourself in situations like these quite often: DONT rage back at the people flaming you. Even if they're completely bogus and mean. You could be making a masterpiece in the time it takes to end all the drama. Btw, you dont need to take all of this to heart. If you agree with what I'm saying, then good on ya! If not, then thats cool too. Just go with whatever's resonating best with your own ethics. :]
